On this day, you’ll face the iconic Barranco Wall, a thrilling climb requiring some rock scrambling skills. Once atop, you’ll traverse the stunning Barranco Valley before reaching the Karanga Camp, perched on a rocky ridge with panoramic views.

Your journey takes you to the Barafu Camp, the highest on the southern circuit of Kilimanjaro. The terrain becomes increasingly challenging, and you’ll need ample rest to prepare for the summit push.

The most challenging day has arrived. At midnight, you’ll begin your ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. This grueling trek under the starlit sky takes you through challenging scree slopes and challenging conditions. Witnessing the sunrise from the rooftop of the continent is a moment you’ll treasure forever. After reaching the summit, you’ll descend to the Mweka Camp, where you can finally rest.

The final leg of your journey takes you through the Mweka Route. You’ll pass through the rainforest zone, where you might spot Colobus monkeys. Finally, at Mweka Gate, your Kilimanjaro adventure concludes, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.

On this day, you’ll bid farewell to Kilimanjaro and return to Moshi or Arusha, where you can relish your accomplishment and reflect on your incredible journey.
